Checking in . . .

I've been a bit lax on posting lately, but the month of March was a bit hectic in my world!

It's time to get back on track and find some more surveys and freebies for everyone.

Please don't be afraid to let us know how it's going! We'd love to hear from you.

New Survey Sites . . .

Two new survey sites have been added . . .

Gamers Instinct
Executive Advisory Board

Be sure to sign up!

Reminders . . .

Well, as you can all see I haven't gotten as far as planned on the surveys being added, however, the ones posted SHOULD keep you busy for a while :)

Couple of reminders and some things to help you out along the way . . .

1) When shopping online, check first with MyPoints. If they have a link through where you're shopping at, you'll gain points per dollar. Use it to your advantage!

2) If you use browsers such as FireFox or toolbars such as Google Toolbar, you can use their handy form filler extensions for your survey sign-ups so you don't have to retype each one. It's a great way to speed things up. I use the one through FireFox as I can customize a different form for various online thigns I do.

Have a survey site you participate at that I do not have listed? Please send it in!

More survey info . . .

The site is definitely more fun to put together than I really planned on! I really enjoy braining storming and researching and it's starting to come together, somewhat well, I think. Someone stop me if it's not.

One thing I do want to point out on surveys, you aren't going to get rich, rich, rich, like they say on some sites. The most I've received for a survey was, I believe $25. It was in an Amazon.com gift certificate and went towards my Christmas shopping for the year. In fact, I use most of these for Christmas gifts, whether it be cash, gift cards, or even a neat product I find. Sometimes, I'll find something I, personally, MUST have so I spoil myself.

There are many sites out there that claim to pay you $50 and up per survey. Most of these are just data miners that want your e-mail address to spam you. Be careful where you do sign up. Again, the ones I've listed are ones I trust and I would (and have) recommend to my friends & family.

I have quite a few more sites I will be sorting through to find the good, the bad, the ugly, and will be listing them. I'm hoping to have my list complete by this weekend, but be sure to subscribe to the RSS feed or 'followers' group to get the latest updates.

I'm also going to add some Freebie stuff also, but let me get this survey list completed first.

Surveys - Do's & Don'ts

Here is how I've succeeded with surveys . . . but do what works best for YOU!

  1. First, foremost, and VERY important!! Create a separate e-mail address for surveys. Keep this separate from your personal e-mail and work e-mail. It's just easier. Trust me. That way if you get behind, you can just go in and delete all e-mails and not get so frustrated with it. There are tons of free e-mail places out there. Just to list a few . . . www.hotmail.com, www.yahoo.com, www.gmail.com.

  2. I personally only do the survey sites that offer me either cash per survey or points. I do not do the sweepstakes type of surveys. There are a couple survey sites listed that will offer cash or sweepstakes entries, but the only surveys I complete for them are the ones for cash. They will tell you prior to completing the survey what your compensation will be.

  3. DON'T get frustrated! You will find many surveys you might not qualify for. So what, move on to the next one. You'll eventually qualify for one.

  4. DON'T waste the company's time.

  5. Give HONEST opinions.

  6. Have FUN! Your opinion is being heard by companies. Enjoy having a say in it!
Have a survey site that I don't have that has worked for you? Let me know, we'll gladly try it out and add it.

Let's get started!

I'm not going to talk much to start here, just get the bare bones of the blog up while I decide which direction to take this in.

For now I'm going to start with survey sites that I have tested and found to be worth MY time. You can decide for yourself if they are worth yours.

So, let's get started . . .
